Wood Adhesives > New Generation Adhesives
HAMMER SHIELD is a high performance solvent free industrial grade water & heat resistant multipurpose adhesive based on the latest hybrid resin technology in class D4 with none of the safety issues associated with conventional isocyanate containing (Polyurathene) D4 grades. SHIELD is specially developed for gluing tropical wood, sandwich panels, paper, cardboard, PVC, WPVC materials and other porous materials. Recommended for the bonding of wooden constructions such as window frames, outside doors etc. SHIELD is also appropriate for bonding difficult types of wood as oak and larch wood. Improvement of the heat and water resistance by pressing at high temperatures (+70°C).
Multipurpose water & heat resistant adhesive with fast setting time.
High performance, non toxic, non hazardous adhesive.
Single component adhesive system.
Excellent rate of bond strength development.
Low Viscosity Product.
Low timber staining characteristics - will not stain.
Water based adhesive - environmentally friendly (eco friendly)/easy clean up.
HAMMER SHIELD is specially designed and developed for bonding various substrates like PVC, WPVC, Wood, Laminates, Acrylic, HDF, MDF, Alluminium, Metal Sheet, PVC Foils, Prelam and other porous surfaces such as plywood, flush doors, block board, particle board etc. and many other substrates. HAMMER SHIELD is used for bonding solid wood for production of interior joinery. It can be used in hot press, for bonding veneer & laminate to particle boards & MDF. HAMMER SHILED is also used in bonding particle boards and fibre boards.

To ensure safe storage of product, containers should be well sealed to prevent evaporation of water and the formation of skin on the surface. The emulsion must be stored at a temperature above freezing. Higher temperatures will affect quality and cause the formation of crusts and skins, especially if the containers are not tightly closed or subjected to direct sunlight for long periods.
General Instructions/Precautions for Uses:
Store away from direct heat & sunlight.
Skin formation if any, should be removed before use.
Water should not be added for dilution as it may adversely affect the performance of the product.
Stir the content of the container well before use.
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, dust, oil etc.
