Wood Adhesives > Class D3 Adhesives
HAMMER SPEED is very strong & high performance single component solvent free heat & water resistant adhesive system in class D3. The Adhesive is suitable where a high resistence to humidity is required, e.g. laminating panel board for furniture, kitchen tables and for assembling of frame wood, furniture in for wet rooms etc. It is ideal for wood working process in cold press/hot press/roller press/vaccum press & post forming applications. SPEED is a one-component adhesive based on the modified poly vinyl acetate dispersion, with water resistance class D3 according to DIN-EN 204. After reaching full strength, the joint has a very good adhesion to wood surface subjected to static and dynamic load and offers good initial adhesion. SPEED is a high performance heat & water resistant adhesive suitable for exceptional fast drying & vertical lamination.
HAMMER SPEED is used where a high resistence to humidity is required. It is also suitable for edge bonding and veneering. SPEED can be used for bonding wood, HDF, MDF, plywood, laminates, block board, particle board, veneer, hard board to each other. It can also be used in hot press, roller press and vaccum press for bonding laminates and veneer. It can also be used in cold press and manual bonding application. Typical applications are windows and doors. SPEED gives very strong adhesion power and Heat & water resistence according to DIN/EN 204 (Class D3).

To ensure safe storage of product, containers should be well sealed to prevent evaporation of water and the formation of skin on the surface. The emulsion must be stored at a temperature above freezing. Higher temperatures will affect quality and cause the formation of crusts and skins, especially if the containers are not tightly closed or subjected to direct sunlight for long periods.
