Specialty Adhesives > Sprayable Adhesives
HAMMER SPR-W 1K is a multipurpose one-component high performance water-borne polyurethane based adhesive system (PUD) formulated for membrane pressing or vacuum forming PVC foils in the manufacture of doors and panels, kitchen cabinets, furniture components and other post forming applications. SPR-W 1K can be used for the lamination of PVC, paper or ABS foils onto particle board or MDF. Initial application is by spray gun, and bonds are subsequently formed by heat activation in the membrane press. The adhesives have excellent spray characteristics, high green strength and tough final bonds, offering excellent heat and water resistance. SPR-W 1K gives instant bonding upon heat activation. The minimum reactivation temperature is 70-80 C° , enabling the product to be used on a range of different presses - hot press, roller press, vacuum membrane press etc. SPR-W 1K can also be used in cold press & post forming applications for bonding variety of substrates.
HAMMER SPR-W 1K can also be used in making fiberboard. It can be used in automotive industry for vehicle interiors. SPR-W 1K can also be used for bonding calcium silicate board with MDF, plywood, melamine board, phenolic insulation board, perlite board, aluminum, etc. This specifically designed and developed PUD system will work on the numerous applications such as Footwear, Flexible Packaging, Automotive, Wood & Furniture, Contact Adhesives Bonding, Flooring, Furnishing, Marine etc. SPR-W 1 K is specifically developed with the best-quality polyurethane technology and ensures a lasting and secure bond. SPR-W 1K is ideal for applying PVC materials to wood and used for bonding PVC to wood & post forming applications. It gives instant bonding upon heat activation.

To ensure safe storage of product, containers should be well sealed to prevent evaporation of water and the formation of skin on the surface. The emulsion must be stored at a temperature above freezing. Higher temperatures will affect quality and cause the formation of crusts and skins, especially if the containers are not tightly closed or subjected to direct sunlight for long periods.
General Instructions/Precautions for Uses:
Store away from direct heat & sunlight.
Skin formation if any, should be removed before use.
Water should not be added for dilution as it may adversely affect the performance of the product.
Stir the content of the container well before use.
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, dust, oil etc.
