MATRIX can be used to assemble a wide variety of hollow and solid core flush doors. It can be used in cold press bonding applications of flush doors.
Typical assembly time is approximately 45 minutes (up to 60 minutes). The assembled doors should then be placed in press for 3-4 hours for proper bond development.
Depending on the construction and types of components used, it is advisable that trimming or sanding can be performed after 24 hours after removal from the cold press. The natural curing time for water based adhesive is 24 hours and it will take 24 hours for permanent bonding.
To ensure safe storage of product, containers should be well sealed to prevent evaporation of water and the formation of skin on the surface. The emulsion must be stored at a temperature above freezing. Higher temperatures will affect quality and cause the formation of crusts and skins, especially if the containers are not tightly closed or subjected to direct sunlight for long periods.
